Paliwanag pa ng SPEEd president na si Ian Farinas, “This recognition is given to individuals like him — a dynamic and spirited renaissance man with a deep love for God, country and community — who beyond the realm of entertainment has so enriched and made a difference in the lives of many, in his most colorful, gregarious and inimitable way.”

I thank my dearest friends from SPEEd for honoring me with the highest recognition of the annual EDDYS — the Isah V. Red Award!

“Tito Isah Red was so full of life and he embodied fortitude, excellence, and 100% dedication to his work as one of the country’s most respected entertainment editors. He was also fiercely loving and had a very kind heart.

“As he created a colorful and indelible difference to the world, I hope and pray that I too could emulate the amazing qualities he championed in making my own mark with the same gusto and flair for life that he exuded when he was still alive.

“This award humbles and inspires me to carry on in my life’s journey.

“Thank you very much SPEED from the bottom of my heart.”
